CANINE GOOD CITIZEN TEST IS APRIL 17

All dogs are invited to participate in an AKC Canine Good Citizen Test at Claytor Lake State Park on April 17. All breeds and mixes are welcome. Entry fee is $10, and each entrant must be registered by Saturday.

Also, the National Specialty Dog Show for the Sussex Spaniel will be held that day. This spaniel is a rare breed. There are only about 500 in the United States, and close to 100 are expected at this show.

Events start at 8 a.m., and admission is a non-perishable food item which will be donated to the hungry. For more information or to register, call 921-3119.
