POTTER HAS EXHIBIT AT E&H UNTIL APRIL 21

Abingdon potter Sara Reese has work featured in an exhibit continuing at Emory & Henry College until April 21 in the Kelly Library.

Reese is one of the founding members of the Cave House crafts center in Abingdon and is president of the Depot Artists Association there. She has a studio at The Depot, and periodically teaches for the Washington County Recreation Department and for Emory & Henry.

Last year she was commissioned by the Bristol YMCA to create an award for its "Tribute to Women" program. She used the commission to further work she had already started on her "Women's Series," impressionistic depictions of various concepts of women which are part of the exhibit.
