AS MEMBERS of the Unitarian-Universalist Fellowship of the New River Valley, we welcome your decision to carry "For Better Or For Worse" during the episodes dealing with Lawrence Poirier. The Roanoke Times & World-News in this, as in so many other issues, is carrying on the best traditions of the free press. We know, as do you, that there will be many hate letters addressed to you. Stand firm, as you have done always in the past. Lynn Johnston's strip is one of your best. Indeed, it treats real-life problems in a sensitive way, in good taste, with fine humor.
