WTOB ANNOUNCES PROGRAMS
WTOB, Channel 2, is presenting a little history, a little business, a children's program and some international music in its upcoming schedule.On Monday, the "After School Book Break" at 4 p.m. presents a series of short stories for young children. At 8 p.m. "The Civil War in Appalachia" will focus on the effects of the Civil War in our region.
On Tuesday, the construction of the Hand-in-Hand playground will be shown at 7 p.m., followed by "The Spirit of Tech," a look at the Marching Virginians.
Wednesday, "Something Ventured, Part 26: It's the Law," will be broadcast at 7 p.m. This is a continuation of the New River Community College telecourse on starting a business. At 7:30 p.m. "The Village Drums of Freedom" present the music of Trinidad.
April 15, "Three Decades of Walt Disney," locally produced by Bob Vignec, will feature the light parades of Disney World.
