AUTO RACING-PRACTICE OPENS SATURDAY AT NRVS
The season's first practice at New River Valley Speedway in Radford will be Saturday. The track will be open to drivers in all five divisions from 2-10 p.m.
This will be the first time in several years drivers have had the opportunity to practice under lights. Races during the season will begin at 8 p.m. A second practice date is scheduled Thursday from 4-10 p.m. Opening day is April 17. The cost for admittance into the infield for practice is $10 per person, and a NASCAR license is required. For more information, call (703) 639-1700.
