SAFFRON MOON PERFORMS APRIL 15
Saffron Moon, a rock band inspired by Eastern chants and Western rhythm and blues, will perform Thursday at 8 p.m. in 100 McBryde on the Virginia Tech campus. The international group is led by New Zealand singer Jyosna La Trobe.
Its music is a blend of rock, country, folk, jazz, Latin, classical and Eastern. The group played at the Earth Summit in Brazil last summer.
Admission is $3 for students and $5 for the public. Tickets may be purchased at the door at 7:15 p.m. the night of the performance.
