OBIT-MONTGOMERY, MICHAEL

MONTGOMERY, Michael, 47, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, April 7, 1993, at his home. He was employed with AT&T for 28 years. Surviving are his wife, Peggy Montgomery; two daughters and son-in-law, Melissa L. and Don W. Atkinson Jr., Bedford; Stephanie A. Montgomery, of the home. Funeral services will be at the St. Thomas of Canterbury Anglican Catholic Church, 11 a.m. Saturday, with Bishop William Rutherford officiating. Interment will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
