OBIT-SCHAFER, ROSIE MARIE

SCHAFER, Rosie Marie, of 6015 Darby Rd., N.W., died Thursday, April 8, 1993, after a short illness. She is survived by her husband, Victor C. Schafer; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Larry Jessee; two grandchildren; Adam and Maria Jessee, all of Roanoke; one sister, Kate Hagy, Williamson, W.Va.; one brother, Andrew Temper, Portsmouth, Ohio; a number of nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Saturday, April 10, 1993, with the Rev. Joseph Facura officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roanoke County Rescue Squad Number 5, Hollins. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
