LAY OFF ROANOKE'S FINE SYMPHONY
I REALIZE I am really no judge of music as I've had no formal training as such, but what disturbs me have been a few fairly negative reviews Seth Williamson has written on the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra's performances. In particular, the March 23 review.I was not at the performance but listened to it on public radio. I thought the orchestra was superb and the pianist was as well. When I read the review, I couldn't believe how critical it was.
I'm sure most folks at the concert would agree with me. Why do the reviews have to be so negative? We are so fortunate to have such a fine symphony and conductor. CAROLYN BRATTON ROANOKE
