OBIT ROMOSCA, SAMUEL D.
ROMOSCA, Samuel D., 48, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, April 3, 1993, in
Charlottesville, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, after an
extended illness. Born in Akron, Ohio, July 2, 1944, he was the son of the
late Samuel and Elizabeth Deme Romosca. He was the beloved fiance of Linda P.
Cook, formerly of Chicago, Ill. Due to Mr. Romosca's continued health
problems, he and Ms. Cook moved to Roanoke in October, 1992, to be closer to
their families. Formerly of Anderson, S.C., Mr. Romosca is survived by two
daughters, Rochelle L. Romosca and Melinda L. Romosca; and one son, Kevin C.
Romosca. His sister, Jane Salanty, resides with her family in Strongsville,
Ohio. Mr. Romosca will be remembered by his family and friends for his loving
heart and smiling face. Special thanks to all his friends and family that over
the past three years have supported him with their numerous cards and phone
calls of encouragement, the doctors and nurses at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes
Hospital, Chicago, Ill., Lewis Gale Hospital, Roanoke, and U.Va. during his
times of need, and to the family and staff of the Teague Funeral Home in
Charlottesville, for their kindness and caring during our time of sorrow. A
memorial service will be held in Roanoke at a later date.
