HAMNER-BRICKEY

Mr. and Mrs. James L. Hamner of Pavo, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathy Lynn of Salem, to James Kenneth Brickey, son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Brickey, all of Roanoke.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eva G. Brown of Pavo, Georgia and the late Grady G. Brown, also Myrtle Hamner of Sparks, Ga. and the late CharlieHamner. Miss Hamner is a graduate of Central High, Thomasville, Ga. and is presently employed by Roanoke City DSS. Mr. Brickey is a grandson of SudieBrickey of Salem and the late Henry Brickey, also the late James Holland and Lucy Baker of Salem. Kenny is a graduate of Salem High and is presently employed by Cummins-Atlantic, Inc. of Roanoke.

An October 2, 1993 wedding is planned.
