Melissa Ann Butler and StephenMarshall Brammer were marriedSaturday, April 10, 1993, in Lynn Haven Baptist Church by Dr. Robert L. Wayne. The reception was held at the church.The matron of honor was Lynn Lotts of Vinton, friend of the bride. Thebridesmaids were Sherrie Gardner and Melissa LaPradd, both of Roanoke, and Ginny Santolla of Vinton, all friends of the bride; Stephanie Butler of Roanoke,sister-in-law of the bride; and KathyPinson of Roanoke, sister of the groom. The flowergirl was Sarah ElizabethButler of Roanoke, niece of the bride.
The best man was Bobby Brammer of Roanoke, father of the groom. The ushers were Todd Harris and Paul LaPradd, both of Roanoke, Scott Santolla of Vinton, all friends of the groom; Kriss Brammer of Roanoke, brother of the groom; and Chet Butler of Roanoke, brother of the bride. Junior usher was Keith Brammer of Roanoke, brother of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Butler of Vinton and the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruth Short and the late Mr. Henry Short, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Butler. She is a graduate of William Byrd High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by Parkway Physicians.
The groom is the son of Glenna and Clayton Caldwell and Bobby and Diane Brammer, all of Roanoke. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Laughlin and the late Mr. and Mrs.Stafford J. Brammer. He is a graduate of William Fleming High School, Ferrum College and Radford University. He is employed by Home Beneficial LifeInsurance.
After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple will reside in Vinton.
