WILLARD-CLINGMAN

Sara Clingman and Ron Willard, II, were united in marriage on April 10, 1993 in Penhook Methodist Church by the Rev. Edward McClain. The reception was held at The Water's Edge Country Club.

Suzy Turner, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Carla Wingo, best friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kim Willard, sister of the groom; Amy Clingenpeel, Joanne Askew, and Debbie Blaine, collegeroommates of the bride. Ron Willard served as his son's best man. Thehonor groomsmen were Richard Owen and Chris Hanson, lifelong friends ofthe groom. The groomsmen were LeeWillard, brother of the groom; Dwayne Robinson, cousin of the groom; Kevin Hudson, Tyler Zindorf and Mike Howard, lifelong friends of the groom. Lisa Baker was the guestbook attendant.

Sara is the daughter of Jean and Lynn Clingman of California and the late Linda Clingman. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School, a 1992 graduate of Virginia Tech, and is employed by Fink's Jewelers. Ron is the son of Ron Willardof Penhook and Brenda Willard of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Cave Spring High School, a 1992 graduate of Virginia Tech, and is employed by The Willard Companies.

Following the wedding trip to TheVirgin Islands, the newlyweds will reside in Boones Mill.
