FOR THE RECORD
Because of a production error, incorrect type was included at the end of a story in today's Business section, which was printed in advance. The final paragraph of a story about bank services, on page F4, should read: The centers will be placed in otherwise normal branches but will stand out thanks to a sales platform that includes neon lights, a continually updated stock tape.
Because of a reporter's error, some information in a story Saturday about Norfolk Southern Corp. and a verdict being awarded to an ex-signalman was wrongly attributed to James Johnson, lawyer for the railroad. Statements regarding how the accident occurred and the plaintiff's lawyers' argument that NS should have had an emergency response team in place should have been attributed to Tyler Moore, the lawyer for plaintiff Ralph R. Hodges.
Because of a production error, part of a sentence was dropped from The Back Pew column in today's Extra section, which was printed in advance. The first sentence on Page 3 should read: "Then there were parents who specifically objected to having their children exposed to the issue."
