Auditions at TechVirginia Tech's Department of Theatre Arts will hold auditions Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. for two summer shows.
Faculty member Gregory Justice will direct "The Real Inspector Hound," a Tom Stoppard comedy satire. Roles are available for five men and three women.
Tennessee Williams' "Suddenly Last Summer" is the second show. Auditions are for four women's and two men's roles.
All adult ages are needed. The plays will run during June and July as part of the Summer Arts Festival '93.

Arts and crafts show
Spring in the Valley Arts & Crafts Show will be held April 23-25 at the Salem Civic Center.
Works will include fine art, stained glass, photography, jewelry and pottery.
Show times are noon to 9 p.m., April 23; 10 a.m.-7 p.m., April 24; and noon to 5 p.m., April 25. The $1.50 admission benefits the Virginia Mountain Crafts Guild's scholarship fund and education projects.

Guitarists rescheduled
The Harrison Museum of African American Culture has rescheduled the Virginia Piedmont Guitarists Tour for May 7 at 7 p.m. at the Roanoke Academy for Mathematics and Science, 1122 19th St. N.W.
Blues and gospel music will be performed by John Jackson of Fairfax, John Cephas of Bowling Green accompanied by Phil Wiggins on harmonica, Turner and Lynn Foddrell of Patrick County and Daniel Womack of Roanoke.
Video-documentaries of the Piedmont guitar tradition and each artist will also be featured.
Admission is $5. Tickets are available in advance at the museum and will be sold at the door. Call 345-4818.
