OBIT BRYAN, W.R.

BRYAN, W. R. ("Dick"), 76, of Daleville, passed away at his home Saturday, April 10, 1993. He was currently the owner of Cloverdale Supply Co., and was the former president of Bryan Rubber Co. and the Great Dane Tire Co. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a tail gunner on B-29's. He was a member of Pleasants Lodge #63 A.F.&A.M., the Scottish Rite Bodies, and Kazim Temple Shrine. Surviving are his wife, Jane H. Bryan, Daleville; a son, William R. Bryan Jr. and wife, Jill, Richmond; grandson, William W. Bryan, Colo.; granddaughter, Sarah Lynn Bryan Ketelsen and husband, Kelly, Iowa; two sisters, Betty Carter, Glen Allen, Va., Genevieve Jablow, New York. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, at Sherwood Memorial Park with Dr. Harry Y. Gamble officiating. Masonic Rites will be by Pleasants Lodge #63 A.F.&A.M. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's North Chapel.
