OBIT DOUGHERTY, JAMES PETER

DOUGHERTY, James Peter, 83, of Salem, died Friday, April 9, 1993, in the Salem Veterans Hospital. He was a native of Philadephia, Pa., and a World War II Army veteran. He is survived by two sons, Kevin Peter Dougherty, Roanoke, Brian James Dougherty, Key West, Fla.; a sister, Camille Clay, Las Vegas, Nev.; one grandson, Quinn Cameron Dougherty, Roanoke. Services will be held on Wednesday at Arlington National Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a favorite charity. John M. Oakey and Son, Salem are in charge of arrangements.
