OBIT KING, BILLY KEITH

KING, Billy Keith, of Christiansburg, died Sunday, April 11, 1993, in Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was a graduate of Virginia High School, Bristol, Va., and a veteran of World War II, having served as an U.S. Air Force Pilot. He was a member of the Montgomery Chapter of the Civil Air Patrol having served as a pilot and trainer, a member of the Issac Walton League. A retired employee of Hercules, Inc., he is survived by his wife, Paula Sutherland King; two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Sonya King of Jacksonville, Fla., Jeff and Marcella King of Christiansburg; one grandson, Adam King, Christiansburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Leona King of Bristol, Va., Bobby and Emolyn King of Abingdon; a sister-in-law, Isabel King, Columbia S.C.; a sister-in-law and husband, Brenda C. and Richard Morris, Washington, D.C.; one niece and three nephews. Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jack Perdue. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 Tuesday evening prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad or to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
