OBIT LUCAS, ROY LEON
LUCAS, Roy Leon, 52, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, April 10, 1993, in a Blacksburg hospital. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Karen E. Lucas, Check; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda G. Lucas of Arkansas, Tina and Jerry Hamlin of Christiansburg, Lisa and Larry Spangler of Floyd; nine grandchildren; his former wife, Marjorie Lucas, Christiansburg; his mother, Dorris Lucas, Roanoke; two sisters, Kathy Naff of Norwalk, Ohio, Mary Board of Roanoke; a half sister, Lorene Hodges, Salem; and a half brother, William M. Pugh, Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Haven's Chapel of the United Methodist Church in Terry's Fork with the Rev. Layne Board officiating. Interment will follow in the Eddings Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Monday at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd.
