OBIT PEARMAN, ALLIE LONG
PEARMAN, Allie Long, 67, of Price's Fork, died Sunday, April 11, 1993, at
Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Pearman was born in Montgomery County on
January 22, 1926, to the late Harry and Carrie Elliott Long. She retired as
secretary from the Price's Fork Elementary School, after 27 years of service.
Surviving are her husband, Herman P. Pearman, two daughters and sons-in-law,
Joyce P. and Ronnie Kitts, Betty P. and Ray Wingate, and one son and
daughter-in-law, Roger and Robin Pearman, all of Price's Fork; four grandsons,
Timothy and his wife, Missy Kitts, of Mt. Tabor, Adam Pearman, Jason Kitts,
Jeffrey Wingate, and three stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Brooks, Sean Brooks,
Dylan Brooks, all of Price's Fork; one sister, Margaret Louise Long,
Blacksburg; one brother, Albert T. Long, Christiansburg; and several nieces
and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, at
McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, Blacksburg. Mr. Bobby E. Fuller and the Rev. Sam
McPhail will officiate. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Price's Fork United
Methodist Church, 4220 Price's Fork Road, Blacksburg, Va. 24060. The family
will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
