OBIT MOYER, ROBERT

MOYER, Robert, ("Bobby"), 64, of Roanoke, died Monday, April 12, 1993, in a local hospital. He was a member of Bonsack Baptist Church and was a retired yard engineer with the Norfolk & Southern Railway. Surviving are his wife, Joann Blake Moyer; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Darrell Smith, Roanoke; son and daughter-in-law, Col. Robert A. and Pam Moyer, Washington, D.C.; five granddaughters, Chandra, Suzanne, Karen, Jennifer Moyer, Megan Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Richard Radcliff, Blue Ridge; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Bonsack Baptist Church 11 a.m. Wednesday with Dr. Robert G. Moore III officiating. Interment will be in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Bonsack Baptist Church Building Fund. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
