WHITE HOUSE CURATOR TO SPEAK
Rex Scouten, White House Curator, will speak on "The White House: The First 200 Years," today at noon in the Sutton Student Center Ballroom on the Roanoke College campus. The cost of the luncheon is $15.After World War II, Scouten joined the Secret Service, and his first assignment was the White House detail at Harry Truman's inauguration. Scouten became Chief Usher, in charge of running the physical White House, in 1969. He retired in 1986 until President and Mrs. Reagan appointed him Curator. For reservations, call 375-2206.
