EARTH WEEK '93 SPEECH AT TECH

As part of Earth Week '93 observances at Virginia Tech, John Cairns, Professor of Environmental and Biological Systems at Virginia Tech, will speak Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Room 100, McBryde Hall. His talk, "Human Society vs. Natural Systems: Is a Conflict Really Necessary?" will deal the principles of restoration ecology, its opportunities and its limitations.
