DRUGSTORE ROBBED BY GUNMAN

An armed robber held up a drugstore Wednesday night on Electric Road in Roanoke County, police said.

The robber brandished a firearm at a cashier in the SupeRx drug store in Oak Grove Plaza, in the 2000 block of Electric Road, around 6:45 p.m. and demanded money. No one was injured.

Police, who declined to say how much money was stolen, have no suspects.
