OBIT PORTER, MADELINE F.
PORTER, Madeline F., 82, of Roanoke, formerly of Oldhams, died April 14, 1993. She went home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Porter. She is survived by her son, Rev. Robert D. "Bob" Porter; four grandchildren, Douglas Wayne Porter, Deborah Ann Boehling, Robert D. Porter, Briggitt L. Harris; five great-grandchildren, Brooklynn A. Porter, Dustin J. Porter, Ashley Harris, Megan Boehling and Thomas Boehling, all of Roanoke; brother, Bruce Forrester, Warsaw; sister, Frances Bryant, Hyacinth. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Oldhams, with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. at the Jones-Ash Funeral Home, Rainswood. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Oldhams.
