BOARD BUILDS SNOW DAYS INTO CALENDAR

The Wythe County School Board, noting the number of days lost to snow this year, is building eight snow days into its 1993-94 year.

It has also set Aug. 26 as the first school day. The last, if no more than eight days are missed, will be June 3.

The current school year will end June 11 with graduation on different nights at the county's three high schools: June 5 for Fort Chiswell and June 6 for George Wythe, both at 4 p.m.; and June 7 for Rural Retreat, 7 p.m.
