`OKLAHOMA!' AUDITIONS SET AT COLLEGE
Open auditions for the musical "Oklahoma!" will be held April 23-25 and May 1-9 in the New River Valley Mall community room. Friday auditions start at 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday sessions at 1:30 p.m.
The show requires 14 male and nine female roles. Several leads will be double-cast with understudies. The show also needs a chorus of 20 to 30 adult singers and eight to 12 dancers. There are some roles for children and extras. All auditions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bring a recent 3-by-5 photo and a concise biography highlighting your theatrical and musical background. Come prepared to present one song (bring your own sheet music) and a soliloquy of up to three minutes.
