THE PEOPLE COLUMN

Michael Jackson apparently will be joining the rest of his family for a December concert at Atlantic City's convention center.

The family will reunite for "The Jackson Family Invitational Music Benefit and Awards," said Thomas D. Carver, president of the Casino Association of New Jersey. The show would be the first time since the clan's poorly received 1984 "Victory" tour that Michael and his brothers, who began their careers as the Jackson 5, have performed together.

\ Terry Meeuwsen, a former Miss America who has been substituting as co-host on Pat Robertson's "The 700 Club," will join the program full-time in June.

"I hope to bring a family perspective to the program so we can focus on some of the issues that are threatening today's families," Meeuwsen said Thursday.

The talk show is the anchor program of Robertson's Virginia Beach-based Christian Broadcasting Network.

Meeuwsen, Miss America in 1973, will move from Milwaukee to Virginia.
