WILDER, CABINET HOLD OPEN HOUSE AT COLLEGE

Gov. Douglas Wilder will hold an open house in Dalton-Cantrell Hall at Mountain Empire Community College from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today to hear from citizens on an individual basis.

It will be Wilder's 13th open house, allowing Virginians to speak directly to their governor and his cabinet without an appointment.

People who want written responses to their questions should bring them, in writing, to the meeting.

Those coming to the session should enter the campus from U.S. 23, where staff members will direct them to a registration area. - Southwest bureau
