BELCHER-BRADSHAW

Tracy Lynne Bradshaw and Ronald David Belcher, Jr. were married April 17, 1993, in Bonsack United Methodist Church. Reverend John W. Ashley officiated. The reception was held in the Ballator Gallery on the Hollins College campus.

The maid of honor was Jennifer L. St. Clair, of Clifton Forge. Bridal attendants were Martha Reid and Angela Smith, of Roanoke, Lisa Whitley, of Cloverdale,Sabrina Caffey, of Odenton, Maryland, and Margaret Spiggle, of Williamsburg. Kenna Price, of Richmond, was junior attendant. Flower girls were Lindsey and Caitlin Bottorf, of Midlothian, Virginia.

The best man was Paul Randall Belcher, of Roanoke, brother of the groom. The ushers were Lee Bradshaw, of Richmond, brother of the bride, Richie Brooks and Mark Crouch, of Roanoke, Jeff Hinchee, of Salem, and Steve Wheeling, of Vinton. Ringbearer was Tyler Heatwole, of Wilmington, Delaware. The guestbook was attended by Vickie Miller, of Roanoke.

The bride's gown was made of white silk taffeta overlaid with delicately beaded alencon lace. The neckline was a pleated portrait collar with fitted bodice and an antebellum waist. Dainty covered buttons graced the back. The full skirt featured exquisite appliques which extended to the chapel-length train. The bride's headpiece consisted of two dramatic silk taffeta rosettes adorned with pearls and Austrian crystals. The waltz-length veiling was detailed with seed pearls. The bride's bouquet was a teardrop cascade of porcelina roses, bridal pink roses and ivy with pearl beading and satin ribbons.

The bride is a daughter of EvelynFontaine and Thomas Delano Bradshaw, of Troutville. She is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and Hollins College. She is employed by Allstate Insurance.

The bridegroom, son of JudithGillenwater and Carlton Linwood Updike, of Salem, and the late Mr. Ronald David Belcher, Sr., is a graduate of Salem High School and attends Virginia Western Community College. He is employed by Allstate Insurance.

The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after a wedding trip to the HawaiianIslands.
