CRABTREE-BULLINS
Amanda Berletta Bullins and Robert Alvin Crabtree, Jr., were married
Saturday, April 17, 1993, in Unity Church of Roanoke Valley, with the
Reverends Kathryn and Alan Rowbotham officiating. The reception was held at
the Unity Church. The bride was escorted by her stepdad, George K. Walker. The
matron of honor was Catharine Breaux, sister of the bride. The bridesmaid was
Jennifer Breaux, niece of the bride. The best man was Robert Alvin Crabtree,
Sr., father of the groom. The ushers were SpencerBullins, brother of the
bride, and Gene Turner, stepbrother of the groom. The guestbook was attended
by Adam Breaux, nephew of the bride. The bride's gown was white peau de soie
with off-shoulder neckline trimmed in lace and ruffled train falling from bow
in back. She carried a cascade of roses, ivy and stephanotis. The bride is the
daughter of Berletta and George K. Walker of Winston-Salem, N.C., and the late
Ellis Spencer Bullins. She graduated from U.N.C., Greensboro, N.C., and has a
MA degree from HollinsCollege. She is employed by LOA Area Agency on Aging.
The groom is the son of Robert Alvin Crabtree, Sr. of Newport News, Va., and
Ann Lane Nunn of Laguna Hills, Calif. He attended the Academy of Art, San
Francisco, and Fullerton College, California. He is co-owner of CM Productions
Cable Marketing. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke, after the wedding trip to
California.
