Kimberly Ann Nichols and PaulWarren Hubbard were married March 13, 1993, at the home of the bride's parents. Mike Sassard performed the ceremony. The reception was held at the parents' "Snow Castle" home during the Blizzard of "93". Bridesmaids were Rose Kemp and Kathy Doyle. The best man wasWarren Hubbard, father of the groom. Usher was Jason Hubbard, brother of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Liza Smoker. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Nichols, of Roanoke. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hubbard, of Rocky Mount. After the wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, the newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
Original wedding plans were quite different, but the "little" Blizzard of "93" did not stop this wedding. Friends joined in with 4 wheel drives and helped get cake, decorations, and food together. 40 friends arrived for a beautiful candlelight snowy ceremony. Many thanks to the loving helpful hand of friends who attended. Also much love to our parents for a perfect day.
