HURD-BURNETT

Mary Elizabeth Burnett and Charles Roger Hurd were married April 10, 1993, in Fincastle Presbyterian Church. V.Jeffrey Doremus performed the ceremony. The reception was held at the church social hall. The maid of honor was Linda Ross, a friend. The best man was Richard Hurd, brother of the groom. The bride is a daughter of Barbara Burnett and the late Edwin M. Burnett, of Roanoke. She graduated from Cave Spring High School and James Madison University and is employed by Roanoke County Schools. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell G. Hurd, of Fincastle. He graduated from West Morris Central High School in Chester, N.J., and is employed by Stanley Jones Corporation. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke, Va.
