2 WOMEN SET RECORDS FOR MAROONS

Lynn Schwehr and Kera Schneiter set school records as Roanoke College competed in the Royal Track and Field Invitational at Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg.

Schwehr was first in the 800-meter run in 2 minutes, 30 seconds, a school and meet record. Schneiter was second in the javelin with a school-record heave of 97 feet.

Other Roanoke College standouts were Patricia Alonso, second in the 3,000-meter run; Steve Crowder, second in the 5,000-meter run; and the winning 400-meters relay team of Schneiter, Kelli Bourne, Shannon Orser and Kristen Ericksen.
