OBIT BLANKENSHIP, JOSHUA DANIEL
BLANKENSHIP, Joshua Daniel, 21 month old son of Daniel R. and Rebecca Campbell Blankenship, of Curve Road in Pearisburg, Va., passed away Thursday, April 15, 1993. Joshua went to be with Jesus at the Charleston Medical Center in Charleston, W.Va. He was the brother of Melissa Blankenship of the home; grandson of maternal grandparents, Raymond and Lucy Campbell of Narrows, Va.; and paternal grandparents, Elsie H. Blankenship of Ripplemead, and the late Vernon Blankenship; nephew of Linda Stephens, Alma Whittaker, Charles and Julie Fisher, and James and Mildred French; special cousin of, Crystal, Reggie, Andrew, Chionita, and Jimmy. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Riverview Baptist Church at Ripplemead with Pastors Shahn Wilburn and Rich Powell officiating. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home, Pembroke, from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Building Fund at Riverview Baptist Church, P.O. Box 204, Ripplemead, Va. 24150 or to a children's charity.
