OBIT BURCHETT, EVELYN MARIE
BURCHETT, Evelyn Marie, 77, of Manassas, died Saturday, April 17, 1993, at
Northern Virginia Health Care Center, Manassas, Va. Mrs. Burchett was a member
of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Pulaski. She also was a member of
the Republican Women's Club. Survivors include one son, Johnnie Nathaniel
Burchett of South Hampton County; three daughters, Marlene Burchett of
Manassas, Sandy Morris-Flynn of Bristow, and Rebecca B. Mayo, of Arlington;
one brother, John Johnston of Pulaski; two sisters, Dorothy Anderson and Mazie
Lewis, both of Pulaski; also surviving are seven grandchildren, and seven
great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday,
April 19, 1993, at Lee Funeral Home, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas. A second
visitation will be held from noon until the 2 p.m. service time, Tuesday,
April 20, at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Pulaski with Rev. Gerald
L. Meeks and Pastor C. R. Conner officiating. Pallbearers will be Jack Morris
Jr., Mike Morris, Sonny Mayo, Jim Burchett, Richard R. Flynn and Dan Ognibene.
Interment at Pentecostal Conference Cemetery, Dublin.
