OBIT CUMBEE, SHARON ANN ("SHERRY")
CUMBEE, Sharon Ann ("Sherry"), 47, of Pembroke, died Sunday evening, April
18, 1993 in a Pearisburg hospital. Born in Bath, Mich., April 28, 1945, she
was a daughter of the late Lester and Helen Kramer Hallette. She is survived
by her husband, Ronnie R. Cumbee; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery W. and
Angie Woolwine Cumbee, Christiansburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly
Ann and Ricky Blankenship, Pembroke; one granddaughter, Shyla Blankenship,
Pembroke; two brothers, Michael Hallette and Gregory Hallette, both of
Everett, Washington; two half brothers, Larry Ortega and David Ortega, both of
California. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the
Riverview Baptist Church, Ripplemead with the Rev. Shahan Wilburn officiating.
Entombment will be in Birchlawn Abbey at Pearishburg. The family will receive
friends at the Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke, Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
