OBIT FELTS, ROBERT ANDREW SR.

FELTS, Robert Andrew Sr., 63, of Route 1, Max Meadows, (The Ft. Chiswell Community), died Monday, April 19, 1993, in the Wythe County Community Hospital. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his father, Guy C. Felts, two brothers, Wallace D. Felts, Galard L. Felts and a granddaughter, Sara Felts. He is survived by his wife, Zerna Dunford Felts of Max Meadows; one daughter, Stephanie Felts of Max Meadows; one son, Robert Andrew Felts Jr. of Max Meadows; his mother Burter Ayers Felts of Max Meadows; six sisters, Mrs. David (Iva Jean) Akers of Max Meadows, Mrs. Howard (Julia) Funk of Fries, Mrs. John C. (Betty) Edmonds of Max Meadows, Mrs. Stephen (Helen) Aker of Max Meadows, Mrs. Dewey P. (Margaret) Collins of Max Meadows, Mrs. John (Janet) Wagner of High Point, N.C.; one brother, Guy Delon Felts of Max Meadows; two grandsons, Robert Andrew Felts, III, Aaron Kent Felts. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Grubb Funeral Home conducted by Jack King with the interment to follow in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Grubb Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 or at the residence at any time. The American Legion Post #9 will conduct graveside retes. The Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
