"This carnival outfit is the largest in the world," said George Kuhn, Blacksburg Kiwanis president. "This is the first year we have used Amusements of America."
The carnival will open at 4 p.m. weekdays and 1 p.m. on weekends. Individual tickets for rides and games will be sold each day. One-price wrist bands will be available April 28 and 29, sponsored by Wade's and King Video, and are available at those stores along with $2 discount coupons for those days.
On April 30, K-92 will sponsor a promotion from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. with one-price wrist bands.
The Kiwanians will have a bingo tent each night; cost is 25 cents per game. Proceeds benefit community projects, especially youth programs.
