OBIT LAZENBY, JOHN EDWARD

LAZENBY, John Edward, 72, of Roanoke, formerly of Richmond, died Monday, April 19, 1993. He is survived by his children, James Edward Lazenby and his wife, Sylvia, Carolyn Lazenby Whitaker and her husband, Bobby, Richard Allen Lazenby and his wife, Carolyn; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lois Denny and husband Bob; three nephews; and two great-nephews. Mr. Lazenby was a retired operations manager for Nabisco, Inc. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 22, in Fair View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's North Chapel, 6732 Peters Creek Rd., N.W.
