OBIT WATSON, TROY A. SR.

WATSON, Troy A. Sr., of Richmond, Va., and formerly of Wytheville, Va. died Monday, April 19, 1993, at his residence. He was a member of the Wytheville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sara S. Watson of Richmond, Va.; three daughters, Janet W. Grimes, Vicki W. Kensky, both of Richmond, Va., Carol W. Rawls of Laurel, Md.; three sons, Troy A. Watson Jr. of Richmond, Va., Gary L. Watson, Portland, Maine, David L. Watson of Mooresville, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Leona Lammie, Ms. Lavon Watson, both of Roanoke, Va., Mrs. Lucille Peters of Bristol, Tenn.; thirteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday 11:00 a.m. in the Wytheville Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. James Massey, with the interment to follow in the West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Grubb Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the American Heart Association. The Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
