NATURE WORKSHOP PLANNED FOR TEACHERS

An Aquatic Project WILD workshop for teachers, scout leaders and home schoolers will be given by Llyn Sharp at the Virginia Tech Museum of Natural History, 428 N. Main St., on May 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Project WILD is an environmental and conservation education program which focuses on the world of water and the aquatic habitats they support. The program received President Bush's Environmental and Conservation Challenge Award in 1991.

Participants will receive an Aquatic Education Activity Guide, as well as materials for creating activities. The training is free.
