PSYCHOLOGY SYMPOSIUM TONIGHT AT COLLEGE

Wytheville Community College's annual psychological symposium will be 7:30 p.m. today in the Grayson Hall Commons.

Since 1985, general psychology students report on research projects carried out as part of their studies.

Topics this year include "Evasive Advertising," "Medicide," "Exposure to Pornography," "Motivation and Sleep Patterns," "Euthanasia," "Sexual Harassment," "Interracial Relationships," "Alcohol Purchasing by Minors," "Lifting the Ban in the Military," "Impatience," "Perception of Our Own Stress Level" and "Effects of Music on Heart Rate."

Attendance is free. In 1988, the symposium won a statewide Excellence in Education Award at the Excellence in Education Conference at Virginia Tech.
