OBIT YOPP, JOYCE LEE

YOPP, Joyce Lee, 58, of Salem, died Tuesday, April 20, 1993 in Lewis-Gale Hospital. She is a native of Franklin County, Va. and had been a Salem resident for many years. She was employed by the Roanoke Marriott, a member of the Women of the Moose in Salem. Survivors include Roy Middaugh; five sons, Rick Yopp, Christiansburg, Frank Yopp and Steve Yopp, Salem, Randy Yopp, Roanoke, and Chris Yopp, Vinton; two daughters, Pat Yopp, Roanoke, and Marlana Wills, Salem; her mother, Mattie Foutz, Salem; eight grandchildren; one sister, Rosie Epperly, Salem; and a special family of friends at the Roanoke Marriott. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel by the Rev. David Neal. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Fort Lewis Rescue Squad. Arrangements by John M.
