OBIT COX, ALWILLIE HARRIS

COX, Alwillie Harris, 94, of Radford, died Tuesday, April 20, 1993, in her home. She was the widow of Jakie Lee Cox. Surviving are two sons, Ralph Cox and Carrol Cox, both of Radford; a sister and brother-in-law, Beulah and Ewell Poff of Willis; a brother-in-law and his wife, Millis, and Myrtle Cox of Radford; a sister-in-law, Alma Harris of Radford; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Old Brick Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Joe McCoy and the Rev. Gina Rhea officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Floyd County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford.
