OBIT-SUTPHIN, LOUISE YORK

SUTPHIN, Louise York 71, of Roanoke, died Thursday, April 22, 1993. Mrs. Sutphin was an active member of Cave Spring United Methodist Church for many years. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Isaac (Ike) Sutphin; a daughter and son-in-law, Juanita S. and Stephen Charles, Concord, N. C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald I. and Mary Ellen Sutphin of Raleigh, N. C.; grandchildren, Melissa Charles, Amy Charles and Rebecca Sutphin; one brother, Jack C. York of High Point, N. C.; one sister, Virginia M. Crowder of Greensboro, N. C. Services will be at Cave Spring United Methodist Church 11:30 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. William C. Logan and the Rev. Louis Carson will officiate. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Cave Spring United Methodist Church.
