MISSION MADNESS SCHEDULED FOR MAY 1

It's May Mission Madness from Saturday through Monday, May 1-3, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 220 W. Main St. As part of this annual event, actor Frank Roughton Harvey will portray various Biblical characters during a series of appearances at the church.

May 1, the church will hold a bake sale and yard sale at 10 a.m., and a carwash from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., followed by a chicken dinner at 4 p.m. All events will be held at the church.

Tickets for the chicken dinner are $4.50 and must be bought in advance by Sunday.

Harvey will perform at the Spring Dinner Theatre at 7:30 as "The Roman Centurion." Dinner is at 6 p.m., and advance tickets are required.

His other performances will be during Sunday morning worship services at 8:45 and 11, and both Sunday and Monday evenings at 7:30.

All proceeds from weekend activities will go toward mission work. For more information, call 382-2410.
