FIRST PRESBYTERIAN DEDICATING BUILDINGS

First Presbyterian Church will dedicate its recently renovated buildings May 2, 11 a.m. The Rev. George Bethune will conduct the service, and the Rev. Dr. George Magnuson of the Presbytery of the Peaks will be the guest speaker.

All three of the church's choirs will sing, and Virginia Bethune and David Jones will perform a duet of music from Beethoven's Brandenburg concertos.

A reception and tours of the newly remodeled facilities will follow the service. Renovations include aesthetic and functional changes to the sanctuary, new offices, activity rooms and a large meeting area in the former manse, and modifications to the fellowship room and kitchen to make both accessible to people with disabilities.
