NARROWS TO SPONSOR DAY FOR OLD PICTURES

"Old Narrows Picture Day" will be at the Old Narrows High School, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on May 1 day and 1 p.m.-6 p.m. on May2.

The event is part of the May "First Saturday," sponsored by the town of Narrows and the Progress in Narrows Now Committee.

Residents of Narrows, Giles County and Monroe County, W.Va., are invited to bring pictures, memorabilia, scrapbooks and newspaper clippings that depict Narrows and vicinity in days gone by.

Easels, tables and other display equipment will be provided. Bring materials to the school Friday, 1-9 p.m. There will be around-the-clock security.
