Slone is back in the Roanoke County Jail after police say he violated a court order to have no contact with his ex-wife. Authorities say he turned up at a hospital where she worked.
In March, Circuit Judge Kenneth Trabue warned Slone that he would revoke all or part of a three-year suspended sentence if he had any contact with his ex-wife, Betty Atkins.
In an interview last month, Slone said he would abide by the order, but hoped his ex-wife would give him a chance to explain why he pleaded guilty to solicitation to carry out the killing and arson scheme.
"Regardless of what happens between Betty and I, I want her to know the real truth," Slone said.
A probation revocation hearing is scheduled May 5.
Investigators say Slone believed the plot would save his marriage by getting rid of his meddling stepson and destroying his wife's house, forcing her to move back to his Boxley Hills home.
